Keli hikes

In January 2014, Jeremy Smith ( another mid-single in my ward) and I planned a hike. To Scott's Run in Great Falls, VA. There was 100% chance of rain that day. It was January and it was cold. I did a good job advertising it so we had one of the best turn outs of any hike that I have ever planned.
I advertised with Oak Marr, Chevy Chase and Potomac Ward and we had people from each ward. I did have more pictures but since my phone broke these are the only ones that are still around.
Jennifer, Candace, me and Margret, then Dan just decided to get in..
Sir Spike and me. isn't this cool it was a muddy, rainy ICY,slipper hike..but this view was worth it :)

Margret had just came back into town and I was so happy that she came :) love her!

Jeremy helping people cross. I don't think some of the people on that hike had hiked...ever. this hike was definatly a crash course on hiking.

 more helping people across.

This turned out to be a really fun hike. It was neat to be out in nature when it was so wet and wild. I am glad that we did it.

and the best part of they day.. someone asked if Jeremy and I were park rangers! What a compliment.:)

In January 2014, we had a New Years resolution bingo. We gave all of our resolutions to the person in charge and then he made them into a bingo.
mine is to run a 5K which as of May 2013 I am sitll working on. I am getting much closer though. I can run for TWO miles at a time now. Which is pretty amazing considering back in January I could only run about two MINUTES at a time.
here is Jeremy calling the things for bingo

Bailey, Bridger, Jenae, Luke, and Rebecca and Eric/Parley playing.

Julie's roommate, Julie and Tonya playing.

the kids wanted to be in a photo with me

 Luke, Max, Dakota and me

 Dakota and Max having fun.

the lesson was about Mother's. Jeremy asked all the kids what they liked about their mom's and I made these quotes.

I thought I had a Bridger one but I am not sure. He might have been more interested in eating the skittle we used as markers.
 Plus I made a collage.

Keli celebrates New Years Eve 2013 part 2

There was an LDS singles dance in Annandale, VA on NYE. I debated if I should go or not, I decided to go. I am glad I did I had fun.
I wanted to do my hair kinda retro. I did not quite get the effect I was looking for but I still think it came out cute.

My outfit was not retro so I was a combo of looks.

The DJ did not know what songs to play so I took over for the DJ and told him what to play. That was way fun!!

On the last slow song I said that all the people there needed to ask someone to dance.. AND I GOT EVERYONE ON THE FLOOR!

here are some pictures I took

Spiritual Keli

In December 2013, while Michelle and I were having a Winchester day we stopped by to see my friend's Jim and Jenny's daughter's grave. Jenna passed from this life without taking a breath. Jim and Jenny have amazing strength and I do know that one day we will see her again. I know this much is true.

We then went and visited Jim and Jenny and their other children, Jamie, Corinne, and Morgan. They were nice enough to show us around their home and all of the improvements and upgrades they are doing to it. They also fed us a delicious dinner.
Thank you to Michelle for going by their house and thank you Jim, Jenny, Jamie, Corinne and Morgan for your hospitality.
 Jenny and Keli

baby Jenna's grave. I replaced those tired flowers with some nice silk ones some wasteful person had thrown away.

myself by Jenna's grave in Winchester, VA. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. I know that God lives and loves us and I know that one day they will be together again.

God be with you till we meet again.
Families are FOREVER!

Keli Travels

In Winchester, VA there is a really cool museum called The Museum of The Shenandoah Valley.

Fun Fact did you know that Patsy Cline went grew up in the Shenandoah Valley?

More of a fun fact: Right now at The Museum of The Shenandoah Valley there is an exhibit called "Becoming Patsy Cline" I am so glad that I was able to go and visit it.

It is one of the best exhibits I have ever seen anywhere ever. Lots of information. Lots of stuff to interat with. My favorite part was, this part, where you could pose here with her instruments.

Thanks to my friend Michelle for taking these pictures. Besides this exhibit the museum had a lot of other great exhibits.

After this we went and toured Patsy Cline's house. It was also worth it. We then went to her grave.

It was a Patsy Cline day.

here are my pictures.
 what is this a mandolin?

 now I got a banjo.

 and a guitar.

 now a pink guitar

how fun is this? You know that you want to go!
