In April 2014. My friend Michelle and I went to Madame Tussaunds in DC. We had so much fun. They had a lot of great exhibits and you could dress up and pose with them! How cool is that? It was expensive but you can find discount and buy one get one tickets lots of places.

In April 2014 Susan teacher had an open house at Nori School. Here are some pictures that I am mostly posting because my hair looks so cute. I also love my outfit.
Susan bought that bounce house.
I mean doesn't everyone need a bounce house.. it takes a lot of work but believe it or not. that thing folds up and goes in a box..

Spiritual Keli
Monica and I went to the temple in April, We got there to late to do a session but we were able to do sealings. We walked around the sealing rooms and I noticed at the Washington DC temple there seem to be only a couple of choices, either a HUGE room where you have TONS of friends and family or a small room where basically you have none..

Keli works
In April 2014, my friend Cody met me at my house one morning and we did some yard work. In just one hour we got rid of all this stuff.
and here is another view..
that was four months ago.. My mom's yard is still a major mess and needs a lot of work. Maybe one day, I can go over there and get it much cleaner and better looking. I am grateful for friends that are willing to help me and I am also grateful for friends with trucks to help haul stuff away.

Keli travels
In April 2014 I went to The Cherry Blossom Festival in DC. Purple Kellie, Michelle and I went to The Cherry Blossom Parade. Monica and her kids Lexi and Nate met us there. I was very underwhelmed by the parade. There was nothing too exciting about it.
Everything was crowded.
We went to walk around The Tidal Basin and it was so crowded it was crazy. There were times when I could not even walk it was so crowded. It was beautiful but way, way WAY too crowded. I had always wondered how to people get trampled in crowds.. omgosh now I know. I am so glad none of us got trampled that day.

Keli travels
I have always wanted to bike the W & OD trail. In March 2014 ( I realized admist my April posts that I had not written about this yet) Margret and I decided to bike part of it. We started in Herndon
We realized one of our bikes had flat tires, so we went to the bike shop to get that fixed. We realized that we forgot our helmets so we went to my mom's to get my helmets.
We then started in Herndon.
It rained. I got soacked. my layers of clothes were soaked. It started to rain a lot.
Miraculously we were not the only people out there.
We biked to Carolina Brothers in Ashburn and ate some BBQ and then back to Herndon. In the rain, up hill both ways.
12 or 14 miles total I forget which..
