field trip

Yesterday I went down to Provo, Utah It was a nice drive down, I barely ran into any traffic THEN I got off the center street exit in Provo....(most of things that I need to go to in Provo are really far off the freeway exits.. just saying) so I am driving in the middle lane going the speed limit when all of a sudden this big truck going really fast smashed up against my car... I did not even have a chance to process that a BIG TRUCK JUST HIT ME!!!! because HE KEPT GOING!!! so I called 911 and started following him and he sped up and turned a corner I thought for sure that I was going to get in a real wreck just chasing him down... He finally stopped and rolled down his window and was like YOU HIT MY CAR, then he started screaming at me.... I thought YEAH I HIT YOUR CAR THAT IS WHY YOU KEPT GOING!!!!!!! So the police show up, all this guy did was bent my mirror back and left a tiny dent in my car and broke the glass out of my mirror..and my mirror put a tiny dent in his car. Neither of us got charged, he did have an expired license though....and we exchanged insurance info... and that was that...

I went over to The Combs house. They have a really nice house, built in the 1950s. Their daughter Verena is SO CUTE! she is almost eight months old. We went over to North Park in Provo, they had a pioneer day celebration going on there.. here is what all they had

1. farmers market/crafts you can buy.... we did not buy anything or stop at any booths

2 a bunch of old cars, NOTHING SAYS PIONEER DAY LIKE CLASSIC CARS....IDK why these were there... but I took a picture of one...

3. a bunch of booths where they sold food, we did not even walk over too

all the missionaries probably in that zone were there running different things, I guess that was the best proselyting activity they had that day...I mean tons of people were there

4. We had Verena do this calf roping activty and pose with a wanted poster it was cute:)

5. there was a whole pioneer village set up, they had a ton of cool stuff but Verena is still really little... and it was HOT so we did some stuff and took some pictures

after that celebration we took Verena back and she took a nap and Elizabeth and I went to the BYU cremery and got a yummy lunch.

I went and visited my friend Echo and her family in Orem that was really nice:)

I drove up to Sandy and met Diane,( who I taught on my mission and is STILL active was in town) We ate at the Mayan...it was expensive! The people I was with was worth the cost though:) I drove back home:)
