Keli travels Jackson Hole, Wyoming part 10 August 2015

Kathy and I were having so much fun looking around and going in different stores while in Jackson Hole. 

We went in this one store

 they had Yeti's this was my first time seeing one in person. In the summer of 2015 there was a very popular country song where a guy talked about if he had money he would buy a Yeti 110 ! I had to google what he was saying. It was a bit exciting to see them! 

 I thought these fish ties were cool..

 Rick Grimes has this gun with a longer barrel or whatever that is called.

 I need to put all of this stuff on my Amazon wishlist! 

 I had no freaking idea that stores even SOLD toy guns anymore..

 or kids bow and arrows

 or girl guns

Wyoming has not gotten the memo on political correctness and offending people.. they are like nope do not care 

THIS IS THE WILD WEST!

 Kathy and I took a stagecoach ride around town..

When it was evening we saw a wild west shoot out that they have every night! 

 It was a great day!

I want to say I am a blessed woman. There is an amazing store in Jackson Hole Wyoming called Jackson Mercantile and I HAVE BEEN TO IT TWICE IN MY LIFE... so far..

 that is the outside of it..

 that is Kathy outside of it..

 raccoons in a boat..

 coonskin hat for sale...

 antlers..

 all of this..

 I need this... he has personality..

 I NEED A BEARSKIN RUG! 

 that bear might get us..

 when they rang me up I was like yeah and can you throw in a zebra also...

 I hope he does not bite me..

 decorate your tree with these..

 or make a tree out of antlers..

COOLEST STORE! or well one of the coolest stores I have ever been too..

Keli travels Jackson Hole Wyoming part 8 August 2015

Kathy and I talked to a local while we were getting top of the world waffles. 

She was very outdoorsy.. because well can you live in a place like Jackson Hole and NOT be.. She was saying her daughter and her HIKED up that mountain.. what WHAT.. that same one we came up on the tram and were going to hike down...

well nope as for now that is a no for me..

so we asked her for advice on restaurants in town..She pointed us for sure in the right direction..

 before we found one, I found this bear and got a picture of him in town..

 she told us to go here.. but by the time that we got to town they were closing..

 they did say you could type them a comment though

 so we went to Cafe Genevieve instead. She had mentioned it also .. We both got salads as you can see from the picture it looks and tasted DELICIOUS..

 we got fried brussel sprouts. We asked for the recipe and they said " well you are going to need a deep fryer" we said OK and well they never got farther than that.. like welllllll alll righty then...

 AND THEY HAD THIS .. PIG CANDY!!!!!!!!!!!! yummmmmm it is like candied bacon and it is so popular that a couple months after we went GUY VISITED THERE WItH DINERS DRIVE INS AND DIVES it is like we were meant to go..! 

oh and I am TOTALLY ordering some pig candy soon! 

Keli travels Jackson Hole Wyoming part 7 August 2015

Kathy suggested that one day when I was in Utah we go up to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. I went there once in the winter so I thought it would be cool to go there during the summer. 

They have this really cool tram.

 we waited in line and then were able to ride it up the mountain. 

 PEOPLE SKI DOWN THAT ... how ??? why??? what ???

 at some points I thought we were going to go straight into the mountain!!!!! 

 we made it to the top! it was cold and windy thank goodness Kathy let me borrow her jacket! I forgot it is cold there in August.

 our waffles ... YUM!!!!!

 then it was time go go back down..how pretty is this...

 I love Jackson Hole! 

I had SO MUCH FUN!!!!
