recipe

I made some dessert crepes for Mitch and I (well we tryed the crepes came out kind of clumsy) then the next day Marian and I made crepes with a better crepe recipe and they came out great and I used the left over filling from our date here are the recipes:)

the filling
Strawberry Cream
2 cups sliced strawberries
1/4 cup sugar
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup powdered sugar


Marian's crepe recipe
1-1/2 cups flour
1 T sugar
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups milk
2 T butter melted
1/2 tsp vanilla
2 eggs

in a large bowl sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. stir in the remaining ingredients mix until smooth.

Heat oiled griddle to medium high heat. pour 1/4 cup of crepe batter in a circular motion so that the batter coats evenly.
cook the crepe for about 2 minutes until the bottom is light brown. loosen with a spatula. turn and cook on the other side. stack the finished crepes by putting waxed paper between each one... keep covered with a dry cloth until you are ready to eat...

when Mitch and I made them with a different crepe recipe they did not come out good at all, but this recipe for crepes is good and the filling is DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
