tryed this the other night with the DeFriez's I was a bit apprehensive but it turned out REALLY GOOD!
1. peach juice where after looking 4 different places in Lee's marketplace in Smithfield,Utah I finally found I had two choices a can of peach juice for 50 cents on sales or some peach necter that was really thick and between 4-6 $... you can guess which one I picked but apparently they don't sell peach juice by its self which is wierd to me cause they had a lot of other juices there
2. sparking cidar this is the first time I have ever bought this "off season" because I think New Years and Valentines Day are the seasons for this...and it was almost 4 $
in the glass that you are going to drink out of pour half full with peach juice and half full with cidar DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!! seriously so good you have GOT TO TRY IT!
I'm Keli I explore. I create. I believe. sometimes Spike comes with me.

book
I read the book " good owners great dogs" I learned a lot about dogs. In some ways I am really glad that I did not read this dog BEFORE I got Spike. I think that I would have been REALLY overwhelmed. according to this book I need to give him supplements and I need take him on walks FOUR times a day so I guess I need to quit my job to facilitate that. ... and I need to be constantly checking him to make sure that he is OK and I need to take him EVERYWHERE with me... So those were some of the things that I thought were a little to much, all though I did learn some good lessons on taking care of Spike and how to be a better mom to him. Having Spike has been a life changing expierience. He is a very hyper dog and needs/wants a lot of attention. I have learned a lot about myself and alot about dogs in this process and for that I am grateful... Spike is getting big but he is still my LIL BOY SPIKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

book
I read the book Nan's Journey. It was written by a christian woman. It was a good story that needed a MUCH better editer and more character development. I think that someone that does not like their books to detailed would enjoy this book. There was so much that happened in this book and it would have been nicer to have some of the parts fleshed out a little bit more. I am glad that Nan found Christ though
book
movie
I watched the movie "he's just not into you the other night" and I should get an award for best gf EVER for not subjecting Mitch to it... I LOVED this movie!!!!!!!!!!!! I really really did. because I saw myself in so many of those women which is SCARY but I have vowed to never do a crazy thing with Mitch at least not that kind of crazy and here is my favorite quote from the movie
"Or maybe the happy ending is this, knowing after all the unreturned phone calls, broken-hearts, through the blunders and misread signals, through all the pain and embarrassment you never gave up hope. "
Im so glad I NEVER gave up hope!!!!!!!!!!!

field trip
I took Melissa and Megan to play mini-golf in Providence, Utah at http://www.willowsgolfpark.com/ It is the only mini-golf place in this valley. The 18 holes have obstacles like little hills and stuff our ball could bump into or get stuck in, the place was decorated with old rusty farm equiptment.... what can I say its Cache Valley.:) The girls favorite hole was one where you had to hit it across a little bridge and there was a little canal under it that was flowing with water, the girls had so much fun when the balls landed in that water and flowed down to this pool, and they used their clubs and hands to get our balls out. After we played our 18 holes, We went back to that hole and played that one a few times. Then the girls bypassed doing that and just started dropping there balls in the flowing water to have the other one pick it out of the little pool. We got there a little before 5 and it was not that crowded, It got more crowded though and when we were ready to leave there were a few very young "couples" there and some familes with really little kids. Mitch and I are going to take his nieces and nephews when he is back in town next time and I am so excited about that!:)

I just finished the book The Pact by Jodi Picoult. This was a page turner It is about a suicide pact between two teens and only one dies and I like when Chris says that "what happens when you find out that someone that means the world to you doesnt feel the same about you" This has happened to me several times...I have a lot to say about this book but I wont because I dont want to give it away, if you want to read it I would love to discuss it with you, of if you don't want to read it ( Mitch) who doesnt even know how to check my blog:) then Ill just tell you all about it and discuss it with:) BUT IF YOU WANT TO READ THIS I WOULD LOVE TO DISCUSS IT WITH YOU:)

movie
Mitch invited me to watch a western with him the other night. I can't really say that I have watched that many westerns.... so, he brought one over "all the pretty horses" with Matt Damon, Henry Thomas,( elliot from ET) and Penelope Cruz... my favorite character in the movie, was played by a guy named Lucas Black that I have not seen in anything else... It was a guy movie that I got to watch with MY guy.... so I guess that is all good.... Im glad we watched it and I look forward to watching many more westerns with him and for him to watch all my girly movies with me:) Mitch also wants me to read the book but I can't justify buying it right now when I bring like five books home from the thrift store EVERY week... so I will tell him that he can buy it for my birthday :)

Mitch and I went to Hyrum Lake State Park last night. It is the only state park in Cache Valley. We pulled in and there is a HUGE lake and I am sure it would be really fun there if we had a boat or a jet ski or a wave runner... Instead Mitch and I hiked on a little path that we think round trip is a mile and half. I got Mitch to take a picture of me by a fence and I recieved two splinters from that fence... He later had to dig them out with a knife :( then we came across a car graveyard. There must have been 20 or 30 cars in various stages of decay laying around some half buried they said that they were there so that fish could use them??? but some of them were so far up Mitch and I dont think that any water could get that high, I took a picture of Mitch by one of the old cars then my camera battery ran out... sad story huh? we then came across a playground and picnic table... and kept going... and then we got a " beach" then we walked to the end of the trail and it ended at a bust stop... So we walked back and the park ranger told us since that was all that we did that did not have to pay.... So there ya go that is Keli and Mitch exploring Hyrum State Park....:)
recipe
The Defriezs and I made Oreo truffles the other night here is the recipe they are sooooo good !!!!!!!!!!!!! ( I also gave some to Mitch's family:)
1 pkg. (1 lb. 2 oz.) OREO Cookies, finely crushed, divided
1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1 little bag of meltable chocolate from Kitchen Kneads
MIX 3 cups of the cookie crumbs and the cream cheese until well blended. Shape into balls.
DIP balls in melted chocolate; place on waxed paper-covered baking sheet. (Any leftover melted chocolate can be stored in tightly covered container at room temperature and saved for another use.) Sprinkle with remaining cookie crumbs.
REFRIGERATE 1 hour or until firm. Store any leftover truffles in tightly covered container in refrigerator.
How to Easily Dip Truffles
To easily coat truffles with the melted chocolate, add truffles, in batches, to bowl of melted chocolate. Then use two forks to roll truffles in chocolate until evenly coated. Remove the truffles with forks and allow excess chocolate to drip back into bowl before placing truffles on prepared baking sheet.
Special Extra
Sprinkle truffles with colored sugar or sprinkles in addition to or in place of the cookie crumbs.
How to Soften Cream Cheese
Place completely unwrapped package of cream cheese in microwaveable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 10 sec. or just until softened. Add 15 sec. for each additional package of cream cheese.
