Beautiful Keli

My friend Jenny Ellen says that she likes that I try new things and switch it up with my hair in April 2014 I styled my pixie cut up. I have seen a few celebrities do this. I think I needed a lot more product to pull this off. I also felt like I looked old. .. well older.. what do you think?

Keli explores

I was on a date in Suitland, MD in April 2014 and we found this abandoned house and went in and decided to explore it. We went in and realized that transient people live there so we left because the guy that I was with said "he did not want to get shot" we did manage to get these pictures though.

at one point in time I guess someone lived there that loved green.

a short adventure but an adventure none the less.

Spiritual Keli

I had a great time watching conference in April 2014. I watched the Saturday session at my house. The Gustufson family invited me over to watch conference at their house on Sunday. They have a tradition where they get everyone's favorite food.

in between conference I had a job interview in Oakton, after that I went over to the church and watched it with the sisters.

Keli Learns

In January 2014 I went back to school. I started something called BYU-Idaho Pathways. It is a Pathway to getting your bachelors. We have two online classes, one religion and one that is a beginning class in something else. These classes are to teach us and prepare us to go back to school. I have decided that I am going to be a History education major. I would like to get a graduate degree in Museum education. I would like to be that person at a museum or historical site that does all the activities and programming. I don't plan on teaching but I think I might get my teaching degree too, to teach on a high school or community college level. I know that I am now forty, but hey why not? What else am I doing. I might as well start living my dream. Our first semester was Book of Mormon first half and a Life Skills class.. in that class we basically had a lesson every week on common sense ... We ended our first semester with an A and an A- . I got the A- because when I went to take my final it kicked me out and I only got a 2% I had an A + but after that debacle I got kicked down to an A-.. That is good enough for me.. Some people in my class think they NEED A +s nope .. not me.. that 4.0 looks the SAME on paper..Here are some pictures from the end of the semester in April 2014.

Keli works

I found this sand and water table out on the curb in Alexandria, VA. I took it home and cleaned it up and then I filled it with all sorts of things I had around my house. I then put it on my porch for my neighbors Jimmy and Riley who are two to play with.

Then I brought it over to the Korean pre-school.. Jihun was obsessed with it.. he immedietely started sorting things..

I kept saying Jihun smile.. but he was too busy sorting..

he was not going to smile..

then all the kids were playing.. there is Chloe, Joon Woo,Vivian, Sejin, and Jihun

they were way into the table..

Jihun did not want to go home that day because he was not done sorting..

I left it over at the pre-school and it did not get covered up.. so that was the end of that.. but it was fun while it lasted.

Spiritual Keli

I was at Family Home Evening in April 2014 and we had an activity where we had to write our name on a paper and then we had to pass the paper around and people wrote positive things about you on the paper. Here is mine.

Isn't that so nice! ... a bit funny too and nice.

Jeremy insisited we only write ONE word on the paper ( which I disregarded) so one of the little boys there wrote stuff like shirt, or pants or hat.. when his dad saw them he was like "yes I am glad everyone wore shirts to my house!" hahahah
