Michelle and I stopped by the Ocean City Lifesaving Museum..all those years of going there and Michelle still had not been there! I really liked this museum..we even completed a work book and won a prize! 

 Me..not sure if I should have got into this..but how could I resist..

I for real GOT STUCK IN THIS... I barely could get out...THANK GOODNESS I DID...cause well that would be embarrasing !!

Michelle told me about a place in Ocean City, MD called Seacrets..wow..I had never been to anything like this ..EVER.. so we go in and there are several different bars and tables and they sat us outside and the floor was SAND!! They even had their own radio station !!

I think that 

1. We were the only people there fully dressed

2. We were some of the oldest people there..

After Assateague, Michelle and I saw and stopped at these roadside attractions ..always a good trip when you see things like this.

I wish more business employed this idea of putting random large things out front of their places

Michelle and I went to Assateague Island National Seashore Park in Maryland over the summer ..

 IT WAS SO HOT THAT DAY THAT MY EYES HURT JUST BEING OUTSIDE ...isn't this a great view? 

Plus here I am..this hat looked and seemed cute but was a pain..it kept coming off and just did not sit right..

Assateague Island is known for it's wild horses and we drove down the road till we saw one..

 This is the only one we could get a picture of they have park rangers riding around in golf carts telling us to keep moving and to not stop so this was as good as we could get.

I would love to go back and explore more.

Ralph lives in Burke..they have a big park there with a lake and all sorts of sun stuff..Even a train..one day Ralph and I went over and rode the train..

Growing up in Northern VA going to Kings Dominion was a HUGE part of life! 

We went when I was a kid as a family..as a teen I got a season pass..and I can have innumerable conversations about rides that are there ...and that WERE there..and memories of almost everything that has to do with Kings Dominion.

In July 2013 I went with some of my single friends.. I had not been in YEARS and suffice to say..some new memories were made.

We got SOAKED on the White Water Canyon..as one does you know..

Cody paid extra for us to go in some animatronic dinosaur thing..and well..I loved it!!

Musical Keli

My friend Kellie asked me to go to a Train concert with her at Jiffy Lube Live..it rained that whole day..and our seats were outside...BUT when we got there..we got to upgrade our tickets to the INSIDE ..for only $10 so OF COURSE WE DID... It also stopped raining as soon as we were in ..but the ground was still soggy so I'm glad we were inside.the concert was GREAT ..I did not realize I knew so many songs by Train or that the lead singer was HOT..it was a really fun atmosphere a lot of people brought their kids..They have a mermaid theme and had everyone that dressed up as a mermaid come up to the stage. I wish I had! I hope to go to more concerts in 2014!!

Holiday 4th of July 2013

I went over to my Uncle Kerry and Aunt Diane's in Fairfax, VA for the 4th of July 2013. We had a pool party.

I made those ..I found the idea on pinterest ..I even got my mom to help put them together . I also made some smoked salmon dip ..it was just all right.

There were a ton of pool toys..and if you look close you can see Rusty the dog on one ..

Crafty Keli

This is about the crafting level I am on...

So basically I can roll yarn into balls ..I'm trying to be better so.. In July 2013.. I went to Michaels and bought some wood letters and wrapped yarn around them..just to do it..to make my mind THINK more crafty...

I made a K and a W for me.. And an R and a C for Ralph 

Then I made a B for Blake that I was nannying for at the time.

They were harder than they looked ..but is think they came out cute!!

Keli's Birthday part 4 the end

So that is it! I had a great BDAY in 2013!!! When we got back from parasailing, Danielle also picked up Antoine and he made us dinner with the fish he had caught.. I have never had fresh fish like that. We also had an ice cream cake that Danielle had bought me..

what the freak.. this picture SUCKS.. but here it is!

and um.. while I was there the electricity was not working in the bathroom.. so I had to take a shower by candlelight.. I smelled something strange while I was in the shower.. and I thought interesting smell of that candle.. when I got out... I realized I had sat my bra WAY to close to the candle.. and...well it burnt.. I BURNT MY BRA!!! I am serious about women having their rights ya all...

and that is it.. that is my 2013 BDAY

Keli's birthday part 3

So Danielle dropped us off to go parasailing.. 

there we three options of how high we could go.. I picked the highest option because if we are going to do it.. we might as well DO it you know..

Ralph and  went up to 1000 FEET!!!!!!!!

We went out on a boat that went so far out that we could not see the shore at some points.I got a little seasick on my way out but I was OK. There was another couple and a group of friends that were also going up. Ralph and I went last.

They strapped us in and off we went.. when we were a little ways up .. I thought this is nice.. and then we just KEPT GOING UP.. and let me tell you 1000 feet is HIGH!!! 

We just kept going up.. and I said to Ralph "can you hold my hand when we get up there" he said "yes" but I WAS SO SCARED that at first I could not look left or right or down or up.. or even take my hand off to reach for Ralph's hand.. but then I relaxed a little and was able to hold his hand.. 

Ralph was not scared at ALL.. I think that he loved it. He asked me "are you enjoying this at all?" Yes I did .. and I am very glad that Ralph and I did that.. I was scared.. but I AM SO GLAD that I did it.. it was amazing and beautiful to be that high up and to be brave enough to do that. 

I am not sure how long that we were up there, but it was getting windy because it had rained off and on that whole day.. so they started  bringing us back down.

On the way back down they dipped us in the water.. Ralph is so much taller than me that they had to dip him about to his waist to just get me in.

I paid extra for a SD card of pictures so here are some pictures of our parasailing adventure.. I look forward to what I will do for my bday June 2014!

We did it!!! we are back in the boat! that is Ralph's new hat that he bought on a beach trip and that is my dress that I got at Five Below.. I love this picture because I feel like it looks like we are on a cruise!
