Keli travels Nashville part 15 May 2015

When you go to The Country Music Hall of Fame you have a choice to go on an extra tour and see RCA Studio B. It is where a lot of people recorded a lot of hits back in the day and is now preserved for history. I bought that option and just thought it was attatched to The Country Music Hall of Fame. It was it's own tour though. We got on a tour bus and rode over to music row and had a great tour of the studio.

It was DEFINITALY  worth it.
outside is this guitar. They had guitars all over the place in Nashville. I love a city that has stuff like this all over the place.

Once Dolly Parton pulled up and was so flustered because she was late, she hit the building.

ELVIS RECORDED ALL OF THESE HITS THERE!!!!

see that mark on the floor? That is the magic spot where apparently if you stand there you get the best sound quality. I am standing exactly where Elvis and many others stood to record many famous songs.

and Elvis played this piano!!!! They would not let  him buy it they said that even he did not have enough money to buy that piano.

The tour was amazing! We learned so many little facts and interesting stories about the musicians and things that happened when they recorded there.. Times were way different then and so was technology. We learned about splicing and how the whole band was in that one room and different takes and all sorts of stuff.

So glad I did this.
