I read a book called Born Blue a couple of weeks ago. It was one of the most poingnant books I have ever read. It was about a girl named Janie who later decieded to go by LeShaya. She had a very troubled childhood. this is a major understatement but all through that, what sustained her was that she was able to sing like really sing. But she could never quite get it together because of her troubled childhood. This book really touched me and I am glad I read it even though it did make me sad. I loaned it to my friend Kellie after I read it and it really touched her too. I would love to see a movie made out of this book.... It did have a really open ending. Kellie one liked that, but Keli two felt like she likes endings more wrapped up.
