Keli Eats

I am on several Mormon  listserves. People give away stuff all the time on some of them. I love free stuff. I am a collector of free stuff.

So when I saw that someone was giving away a quesadilla maker I was like, NEED. I did not say WANT because who does not NEED a quesadilla maker.

I thought I see these at the thrift store all the time, if it is lame, I can just take it to the thrift store after I try it out.

While I was in Culpeper, Virginia I had stopped at a speciality cheese place called The Culpeper cheese company and I had asked "what kind of cheese is best to go in quesadilla's ?" they sold me some cranberry chipotle chedder. ( it for sure had a kick)

Then the next night I went over to my friend Bunny's and we made quesadilla's. I then knew I had made a great choice in getting the free quesadilla maker. Quesadilla's in the quesadilla maker turn out so much better than from the microwave.

The quesadilla maker makes them all nice and crispy and puts little indentions in them where you can easily pull apart and eat your quesadilla. They were very yummy.

I then called my friends Erin and Rob, because their kids love quesadilla's and said "can I come up there and can we make quesadilla's I brought my friend Jenae's kids Dakota and Bridger and we all had a fun time making quesadilla's they kids had fun putting the cheese in and then putting the other tortilla in and then puttind down the top, plus like I said they are so yummy!

so fun with my friends without kids, fun trying out a new cheese, fun with my friend with kids. This sounds like a keeper.

I knew after these experiences I had to keep the quesadilla maker. I found room in a cabinet in my kitchen for it and it lives in there now, it is just sitting there waiting for the next fun experience. ( this one was in October 2013, because well you know my blog is only six months behind that is it, just six months.
