They also have a wonderful bookstore and visitor center. We did have to schedule a time to tour the house and thank goodness we did because they were sold out! In November! They had to turn people away.
Michelle and I did the jr. ranger program while we were waiting and watched a film about Frederick Douglas and had a lot of fun waiting for our tour to start.
We then walked up the hill to his house. His house was amazing and what a view! 
that does not really tell you how awesome it was. We had a great tour guide and really enjoyed ourselves on the tour.
