Keli works

I really want to live in the country one day. I love the country.

I will say though that if you find the right place city living does have it's advantages. When I watched Xander and Seban they lived walking distance from the King Street Metro and Old Town Alexandria. That was pretty cool.

One day in October 2013 I picked them up at school and along with their friend Madeleine and her sister Trinity and their mom Vera we walked over to the US Patent and Trademark Office.  It was not a long walk and the kids enjoyed themselves and liked walking through the tunnel near the King Street Metro.

When we got there we went to The National Inventors Hall of Fame and Museum. It was a very small museum, but the kids loved it!

They currently have an exhibit ( or had in October) an exhibit about exercising. The people that invented exercises and diets and equiptment

Here is Xander trying out this machine.

Seban is a bit upset that he had to go second. I switched on and off who I would take the picture of first.

you could exercise with this lady!

Seban pretending to exercise with this man.

Xander posing with this Dr. you need to stay healthy and exercise.

Xander again by this lady who also might have something to cure "what ails ya"

This was so cool! they had all these portaits up of people that had invented stuff from the past and currently and they were digital. So we watched a "movie" of them talking to each other about patents and inventions and stuff like that. you can see Xander, Madeleine and Seban if you look close at that bench.

They also had another movie about people that invented stuff for people in the X games. We watched that in a little theater. The boys and Madeleine liked that so much that they asked to watch it three times. I let them watch it twice.

Outside the museum with a statue of Jack Lalane. Xander, Madeleine and Seban. Seban is wearing a pink cowgirl hat that I had brought to work he loved that hat. Trinity is standing in front of the statue.

It was a great field trip!
