Keli Travels

Michelle and I went to The Apple Butter Festival in October 2013. It was held in Berkeley Springs, WV and we had a great day. Here are some pictures of our adventures that day.

we saw this castle.. that you used to be able to tour but is now a private residence.. um don't buy a castle and then NOT let people tour it .. I mean come on.. at least ONE DAY A YEAR!!!

We toured the small town museum.. and saw this sign ..which made me kinda sad.. until the tour guide said that a geologist had been in and said it was OK to touch the crystal....

 so.. I did...

we saw "George Washington's Bath Tub" :)

oh golly.. I had never seen this in person up close..
but for lunch we got this huge blooming onion and the rest of the meal is from a church.. it was all good..

check out our cups! well OK they are really Ralph's cups.. They are from Wild Bill's Soda Company.. if you bring them to any event then you get cheap refills and the day you buy the cup.. you get free refills and if you know the prices of drinks at a festival it is worth it.. the one on the left is from the 2013 Herndon Festival and the one on the right is from the 2013 Apple Butter Festival... so cool..

that is all for the 2013 Apple Butter Festival

till next year ya'all! :)
