Keli travels DC August 2015

 I had not been down to see the monuments at night for awhile and went to do so in August 2015 with my friend Margret. We went to the ww2 and the Washington Monument. Here is a selfie of me at the monument I am sitting at the WW2 and you can see The Washington Monument in the background.

After the aquarium, I took the kids to SLC. We went to Deseret Book and I made the kids try on hats. We also went to Temple Square. We went to the visitors centers the tabernacle and the assembly hall the picture below is of us at the assembly halll. I am having some technical difficulties so I hope that my future blog posts go better! 

Keli travels Utah part 13 August 2015

I took the kids to the aquarium one of the days I was in town. IT WAS AMAZING.. worth the money for sure!!! 

 it was a sunny day..

 the building is cool..

 the kids jumped up and down on this and it changed colors..

 the kids said take a picture of this turtle eating .. like oh of course I will..it is extremely interesting..

Keli travels Utah/Idaho part 12 August 2015

Kathy and I decided to drive over to Bear Lake while I was there.

We stopped by the Utah State bookstore while I was there and I spent SO MUCH money! I love University bookstores. I drive by a University four days a week when I go to my massage job I should stop in at that bookstore some time.

Then it went downhill from there. This woman called me with some problem and I had to take care of that and walked in and out of the play the rest of the time..how embarrassing..and annoying..it was not good.

Afterwards I felt a little bit better. It was Raspberry days so we looked around at the stuff..I saw some weird stuff like this..

 

 and who would pay $3 for this.

It was an OK day but not my favorite. I am so grateful to Kathy for being my friend.. but if I could have a do over of this day, I would love one. 

 

 

Keli travels Utah part 11 August 2015

I realized after I wrote this that, this was one day out of order.. that is OK. 

I was taking the kids to the aquarium and Rachael was in Provo so I met her and the kids at Cabela's. 

Marian and Rachael had said you do not have to take the kids to the aquarium. They would be happy at Cabela's 

I thought eh..

when I got to Cabela's I realized what they were talking about.. I had never been in a Cabela's it was better than a Bass Pro Shop. 

I walked in and was amazed. I was a couple minutes late, but I almost did not want to call Rachael and tell her I was there.. I just wanted to look in there forever..

but Rachael called me I was in the taxidermy part. It was better looking than some museums I have been in. 

I am glad she called me because I might still be in there browsing if she had not. 

 these boats were only $400 I asked Taylor if she wanted one. She said no! you have to work to use them :)

 I had never been in a store that  just sold guns like this.. 

 I need this.. I do not really know what it is ..but I need it..

 this exhibit was outside the kids enjoyed looking at it.

I love these kids!!!!
