Keli Travels

In November 2013, Michelle and I went to Lincoln's Cottage in DC. It is one of the "newer" attractions. they have an amazing gift shop and interpretive center with state of the art equiptment. The cottage is not really furnished but instead has different media presentations in almost each room. They also tell the story of what it would have felt like to be Abraham or Mary Todd Lincoln. They lived in this cottage during the summer while he was president. Outside of the cottage they had this statue of a horse.

and well they did not have a sign near it not too..

so I got on it. That thing was so hard to get onto. It was so tall and I thought "my pants are too tight to do this. But I needed this picture. So I did.
