VA day ONE

I flew to VA November 19th 2009. In general most of my flights to VA involve me leaving here at some INSANELY EARLY hour of which I am NEVER EVER ready for and always forget something...this flight did not leave SLC until FIVE PM!!!! and all though I did not get into VA until about 11pm, for me it was so worth it!:)

I got this cool checklist at some clearance table somewhere so I remembered everything that I needed to remember and got everything I needed into one suitcase and two carry-on's it is AMAZING how much you down-size when they charge you for the second bag also..

I went over to Mandys and got my hair done, she did my hair so big and flipped up I am not sure how I feel about flipped up hair?but I looked cute, I love to get my hair done it just makes me feel so much MORE BEAUTIFUL :)

Steve and Carol gave me a ride to the airport which was REALLY NICE of them:) we had a nice ride down there. Steve and Carol carry concealed weapons with them. IDK if I have ever even known someone that HAS a concealed weapon but then again how would I know it is concealed. I knew for them because Steve took off his Carhartt vest because it was hot and I saw it and they talked about it. I thought wow I have only ever picked up a gun once, and all though it does sound fun to go out and shoot things and I would do that if the opportunity arose, I can't imagine myself carrying a gun on a daily basis... I mean I would feel like I was Olivia Benson or something...So we got to SLC with no incident I am really glad we did not need to use the gun.

Has any one ever noticed that besides the regular billboards in Utah on Rt. 15 that a great number of them are pro-LDS and LDS products or anti-LDS and our products. I noticed this when we took our exit and I saw one that said " addicted to pornography? ... there is help.. and a 1-800 number and a girl and a guy on it that looked very sad... Then right behind it was a billboard that said LIVE HOT SEXY GIRLS!!!! and a girl dressed in next to nothing spinning on a pole ( I could not tell if she looked happy) and some guys watching her that did look happy...and then it said to take exit whatever and go to some place... It is interesting to note we can make a good choice or a bad choice...and now there are even advertisments to help us do so...

I went into the airport and bought some Dramamine... don't want to get sick, I have to take Dramamine A LOT in VA those curvy roads just do a number on my stomach, our roads are straight here in Utah.I also bought a People magazine with Johnny Depp on it as the sexiest man alive.... I don't really think that Johnny Depp is the sexiest man alive but I knew that People would be a good read and I knew there was bound to be someone in there I thought was sexy... and there was:)

I sat next to some people from Fredericksburg,VA who had gone to Vegas for the weekend for REALLY Cheap, you can always go to Vegas for really cheap.. I mean it is Vegas they make their money in other ways.

one of the flight attendents looked like Adam Lambert! he even had Adam Lambert hair it was not done up as crazy as Adam Lambert but STILL... .He even had Adam's picture on his name tag over his picture.

We were the last people off the plane and then had to catch a shuttle bus over to where our luggage was because we got in so late the shuttle bus's were only running every 10 -15 minutes. We ( and I mean me and the couple just coming back from Vegas) caught the third shuttle bus... and all this time my WONDERFUL friend Erin and her daughter Emily were waiting for me in the "cell phone waiting area" something they have set up at Dulles Airport for people that are waiting to pick someone up they wait there until they get a call on their cell phone.

I got my luggage which was all wet. It rains a lot in VA...and went and met Erin and Emily. Erin almost did not recognize me because Mandy had done my hair so big speaking of big Emily was so big from the last time I saw her in April:)

We went back to Reston,VA where Erin and Rob had sit up a really nice air mattress for me ... and I went to sleep, happy and peaceful at Erin and Rob's house!:)
