Two Sundays ago we got a new bishopric and yesterday they spoke in church. I wanted to relate a story that Rich Chadwick the 2nd counselor shared, First let me give you a little backround, Rich and his wife Becky are in their late 30s or early 40's and have 5 kids, Porter, Chaylee, Cole, Tanner and Jocee. Porter is a 10th grader ( I think) and Jocee is 4. the rest are in between. Rich has also recently had cancer of the lymph nodes and has had a lot of health issues over this summer. I have gotten to know the family because Rich ran a gas station near Qwest where I would stop and get breakfast a lot and Cole and Tanner mow my yard :)
Rich shared a story about how once he went to pick up Chaylee from dance class when she was really little maybe only 3 or 4. He arrived late and there she was standing there in her little tutu, and she looked very sad. When he got out of the car, she ran to him and hugged him and started crying and said "did you forget you had a little Chaylee Blue?" He said that made him cry so much and recently with everything that he has been going through he has thought to say to Heavenly Father "did you forget you had a little Elder Chadwick?" ( he said that is how he thinks that Heavenly Father would address him Elder Chadwick) He then bore his testimony about how he KNOWS that Heavenly Father LOVES HIM AND HIS AWARE OF HIM and is AWARE OF ALL OF US! HEAVENLY FATHER IS ALWAYS THERE FOR US! It was a very powerful testimony and I cryed. I am so grateful to be in the Lewiston 3rd ward with such wonderful people... and to anyone that is reading this KNOW that Heavenly father KNOWS you and has a plan FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!! for real and for sure!
